Former US President Donald Trump has said he looks “much better” than Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump, the Republican Party candidate in the upcoming US elections, said this on Saturday at a campaign rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
The former US president claimed that the portrait of the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate on the cover of the latest Time magazine was not a painting but a drawing, adding that the magazine’s illustrator had been “too generous” with Harris’ portrait.
Trump acknowledged that Harris was a “beautiful” woman, but stressed that he himself looked even better.
He said, “I think I look much better. I am a better looking person than Kamala.”
“They took a lot of pictures that didn’t turn out well, so they hired a sketch artist.”
Trump also blamed Harris for causing “devastating” inflation – one of the biggest issues of the campaign – but he soon went off script, mocking Harris’s laughter and calling her a “communist” and a “lunatic.”
