India-based IT company Prodapt opens its American innovation center in North Texas » Dallas Innovates

India-based Prodapt, a provider of consulting, engineering and transformation services to the telecommunications and technology industries, has opened its Americas Innovation Center in Richardson.

Building on its domestic service delivery capabilities, the center will help customers fully integrate AI capabilities – especially GenAI – into their IT, network and business operations to improve organizational efficiency and customer experience, Prodapt said.

“The Americas Innovation Center is our commitment to embed AI into every service and solution we offer our customers,” said Manish Vyas, managing director and CEO of DFW-based Prodapt, in a statement. “Our customers rely on us to drive AI-powered transformation, realize autonomous operations and deliver intuitive, digital customer experiences. With deep transformation expertise and comprehensive technology partnerships, Prodapt will help make their technology vision a reality.”

The company announced in July that Vyas had been appointed as the new head of Prodapt.

Manish joined the company earlier this year as Managing Director, bringing with him more than 23 years of experience at Tech Mahindra. Prodapt is headquartered in Chennai, India, the southern city formerly known as Madras.

Connecting some of the world’s largest telecommunications companies

Prodapt said the new centre will feature an AI customer experience lab to accelerate the development of next-generation digital products and experiences from conception to launch.

The company plans to expand its team of experts in data analytics, cloud computing and advanced AI technologies for the innovation center. Equipped with an executive briefing facility, the center will deepen its engagement with the AI and digital-native startup ecosystem, leading technology institutes and research firms in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and foster strategic partnerships, Prodapt said.

“We are excited about Prodapt’s expansion in Richardson,” Mayor Bob Dubey said in a statement. “Richardson’s innovation ecosystem provides a highly conducive environment for fostering technological thought leadership and ease of doing business. With this expansion, Prodapt will contribute significantly to economic progress in Texas. We will continue to support Prodapt as it expands its presence in Richardson.”

Prodapt has described itself as the largest and fastest-growing specialized player in the networking industry and has been recognized by Gartner as a large, regional telecommunications IT services provider in North America, Europe and Latin America.

Prodapt’s customers connect 1.1 billion people and 5.4 billion devices and include some of the largest telecom, media and internet companies in the world. Prodapt said it works with Google, Amazon, Verizon, Vodafone, Liberty Global, Liberty Latin America, Claro, Lumen, Windstream, Rogers, Telus, KPN, Virgin Media, British Telecom, Deutsche Telekom, Adtran, Samsung and many others.
