Indiana football’s Price named to Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award nominee — Hoosier Huddle

The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award recognizes the best offensive player in Division I who also exhibits the enduring qualities that define Earl Campbell: integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, drive, community spirit and tenacity; especially tenacity and determination to overcome adversity and injury to achieve goals. In addition, the nominee must meet one or more of the following criteria: Played and graduated from a Texas high school football program and/or is currently playing at a four-year Texas D1 college.

Price has played in 42 games in four collegiate seasons and started 25 times. He spent the 2020–23 seasons at Texas Tech and was twice honorable mention in the Big 12. The versatile player has accumulated 2,521 total all-purpose yards, including 1,751 receiving yards, 296 punt return yards, 207 rushing yards and 59 kickoff return yards.

While in Lubbock, Texas, he collected 161 receptions at Texas Tech, including 10 touchdown catches from his wide receiver position. He also recorded two rushing scores. Overall, Price had one 100-yard receiving game and two double-digit catching games in his career.
