Is Trump the reason behind Prince Harry and Meghan’s urgency to restore royal ties?

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle are making increasingly “desperate” efforts heal the rift with his father King Charles and the royal family and the reason could be the upcoming US elections.
In the last few days Duke of Sussex was seen making several attempts to contact his father, who continues to undergo treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer. He also flew to London to visit his father, and after the meeting he told reporters: “In all these families, I see it every day how strong the family sticks together. I think every illness, every suffering brings families together.”
Richard Eden of the Daily Mail commented that the ongoing threats from Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump have left the Sussexes feeling uncomfortable.
“It seems quite clear that they are desperately trying to heal the rift,” a former employee told Eden.
Earlier this year, Trump’s son Eric called the Duke and Duchess “bad apples” and threatened that Harry could be deported if the Republicans win.
“You can keep those two… Maybe we don’t want them anymore. It feels like they’re on their own island,” Eric said.
Prince Harry, who has lived in the United States since 2020, could face deportation if it turns out that he made false statements on his visa application, according to former President Donald Trump.
The prince’s admission in his memoir “Spare” that he had used drugs such as cocaine, cannabis and psychoactive mushrooms in the past could be a reason for his visa application to be rejected under US law, the Daily Mail reported.
Aside from that, Meghan and Trump have a strained relationship. During her time as an actress, Meghan called Trump divisive and misogynistic. While filming the legal drama Suits in Toronto, she even hinted that she might stay in Canada and not return to the US if he became president.
