It’s time to expose the Iranian bluff

The exchange of fire between Israel and Hezbollah last weekend is proof of this: The terrorist group and its Iranian backers pose a major threat – but when their enemies strike back, they retreat.

So much for “escalation” – and a lesson for the Biden-Harris team.

On Sunday, the IDF preventive 6,000 Hezbollah rockets aimed at the Jewish state were destroyed.

The terrorists only managed to launch 300 bombs (most of which were intercepted or landed without causing any casualties), but then withdrew for fear of a larger-scale war.

This despite the fact that they have vowed great revenge for the assassination of Israeli commander-in-chief Fuad Shukr (the man responsible for the murder of a dozen Druze children last month and the murder of 241 US Marines in 1983).

Iran also made harsh comments about Israel’s killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, but has not yet responded.

Maybe because it was the one time tried prepared to attack and launched 320 missiles and drones in April, the result was … zero.

And when the Israeli forces responded by knocking out the Iranian air defense system near the Iranian nuclear facility in Natanz, the regime did… nothing at all.

Hez and Iran say They are still planning actions, but both are obviously afraid of Israel’s power.

Hezbollah is believed to have 150,000 rockets and its leader Hassan Nasrallah says there are 100,000 Hezbollah fighters. In a full-scale war with Israel, the group could undoubtedly cause great damage.

And yet it would take even greater damage in return.

Iran also has a considerable military.

But Israel is not up to the challenge – and the country would probably destroy its entire oil industry in response.

Uncle Sam is stronger than them all, but the braintrust of Biden and Harris repeatedly fails to respond seriously to threats and even attacks for fear of “escalation.”

And the axis around Iran continues to push forward: the Tehran-backed Houthis have just blown up a tanker and released a video of it to mock the West’s “protection” of sea routes.

In January, Iranian puppets killed three US soldiers – but Biden and Harris barely responded with a slap on the wrist.

The White House even called on Israel not to respond to the Iranian missile attack.

Crazy.

When will Washington finally copy Israel’s approach and call Iran’s bluff?

Neither as long as Biden is in the Oval Office, nor if Harris moves in.
