Harrington, DE – Forrest Bartlett’s Iwannabewithyou ($9.60, Trae Porter) won the $22,500 Free-For-All Pace at Harrington Raceway on Monday (Aug. 26) with a start-to-finish time of 1:52.4.
The 5-year-old gelding by Luck Be Withyou benefited from a much better starting position in this start and immediately took the lead from fifth on the grid. He never looked back and scored his 11th win of the year for trainer Kevin Lare. My Miki Beach was second and Ammo third.
Iwannabewithyou had spent most of the summer competing at Ocean Downs, where he won three open-level events.
In the preliminaries, Cathy Dessert’s Imoutthedoor ($4, Tony Morgan) picked up his second consecutive win in a $45,000 claiming event for trainer Chris Scicluna.
Trainer Crissy Crissman-Bier had four wins, two of them for owner Vincent Ferriero, on Metallica ($5.40, Stafford Jr.), All About The Hunt ($6.60, Montrell Teague), Showdown Lynx ($4.60, Art Stafford Jr.) and Bettor’s Ville ($2.80, Stafford Jr.).
Art Stafford Jr. had 3 wins on the card, all for Crissman beer.
The live races will take place from Monday to Wednesday until October 23rd (start time 4:30 p.m.).
