The romance between Jennifer Lopez and Drake continues to puzzle fans as the two musicians spend more and more time together. And a source close to the two stars tells PEOPLE that they are “happy”.
“Jennifer and Drake seem really happy,” says the source. “Friends have no idea where the relationship is going.
The source added that Lopez ended her relationship with on-off boyfriend Casper Smart.
“But one thing is for sure: There’s no way she’s going back to her,” the source says, pointing to previous reports that her ex-boyfriend is trying to win her back. “She moved away months ago. He keeps trying to convince her that he should be given another chance, but that door closed months ago. That door isn’t just closed, it’s sealed.”
A source close to Lopez previously said PEOPLE that things are heating up for the musician couple.
“Jen is really excited for the new year. She’s still hanging out with Drake and he’s been visiting her at home,” the source said. “She has nothing but good things to say about Drake.”
Last week, another insider told PEOPLE that the duo are just friends and are working on music together, but also spending a lot of time together.
And although Lopez, 47, and Drake, 30, have not officially commented on their meetings together, both stars have shared photos of each other on social media.
And Lopez’s source said that while the two are “working on music together,” they also “obviously enjoy each other on another level.”
“Jen loves the attention and seems very happy to spend time with him,” Lopez’s source continued. “Drake is very charming. He treats Jen with a lot of respect. She seems very much in love.”
