Jessica Biel is parting with her long hair!
The 42-year-old actress revealed a new bob haircut in a video sequence of herself cutting her hair posted to Instagram on Saturday, May 18.
“Brought the damn bob back 💇🏻♀️,” Biel wrote in the caption, referring to the viral internet phrase about the bob haircut.
In the clip, the mother of two wears an oversized printed T-shirt and holds her hair up in pigtails while sitting on a chair in a dressing room.

Then she tugged on her bun a few times in time with the music playing over the clip, which had the sound effect of a gun being reloaded.
Biel then tilted her head to the side and gave her hair another tug as she reappeared in a second clip. Her hair was cut into a sleek, short bob and she wore a new outfit consisting of a white tank top and a gray blazer.

The sweets Star has followed in the footsteps of a number of stars who recently unveiled bob hairstyles, including Gigi Hadid, Kim Kardashian, Demi Lovato, Jennifer Lopez and Megan Fox.

Biel’s latest hair transformation came after she chatted with PEOPLE about her new children’s book. A children’s book about periodswhich introduces young readers to the topic of menstruation.
The actress said of her own experience of starting a family: “I was probably in my thirties when I got married and we were thinking about starting a family. All these questions came up. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be.”
“…As I got older, things changed and my cycle was different and I wasn’t getting pregnant. What was going on?” she continued.
Biel added, “And I had a lot of trouble getting pregnant the second time around, too… It just became clear that many of us don’t know enough about our bodies.”
