Everything is going smoothly for Jessica Simpson!

The 44-year-old fashion mogul showed off her Texan roots in a seemingly spontaneous photoshoot she posted to Instagram on Monday, August 26. She wore a skintight Saint Laurent catsuit with a large rose print. The statement piece featured a halter neckline and a midriff cutout.

Simpson paired the catsuit with a fluffy coat, white platform boots and oversized silver hoop earrings. Her hair was half up and had plenty of volume. The post’s caption included a single rose emoji.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in 2023, Simpson said that she doesn’t let the weather dictate her fashion choices at any time of year.

“I’m the type of person who wears a slip dress with fishnets, boots and an oversized turtleneck, or shorts with tight thigh-high boots, a T-shirt and a blazer,” she said, showing that she wears whatever she wants no matter what’s going on outside.

She is also not afraid to delve into her fashion archives whenever she feels like it.

“I don’t like it when my purchases from the past or present disappear from sight or mind. I even go into my storage rooms and grab things I know from memory that I want. I’m an organized chaos closet hoarder!” she confessed.

The mother of three also shares her closet with her daughters Maxwell (12) and Birdie (5). “I have to do an inventory of the girls’ closets every week to look for missing items! Somehow they even know my hiding places,” says the A Duke rarely comes alone Stern admitted.

Simpson has her children, including 11-year-old son Ace, with her husband Eric Johnson.
