Mysore: HD Kote MLA Anil Kumar C stated that the Kabini Dam in HD Kote is to be repaired at an estimated cost of about Rs 6 crore. He told reporters that the main Minister for Water Resources has given assurances in this regard. “The Restoration work Work on the dam is expected to begin soon. In addition, there are plans to develop a park near Kabini Dam on the model of the KRS Dam in Mandya. A detailed estimate of Rs 30 crore has been prepared for this project and steps are being taken to start the work shortly,” he said.
