Come on Kate, let’s go celebrate.
Kate Beckinsale showed off her new pink Barbie hairstyle at a Pomeranian meetup in Los Angeles over the weekend, and the actress shared numerous cute snapshots of the puppies – and their new hairstyle – on Instagram on Monday.
The 51-year-old “Serendipity” actress showed off a wavy pink hairstyle in numerous photos and videos from the event, writing, “This was a first… @empirestateofpoms was a true Pomeranian bonanza and thank you for letting us be a part of your first pom party in Los Angeles, @prettyconnected.”
Beckinsale – who said she was “disturbed” that “her beloved dog Myf’s butthole was sniffed more than anyone else’s” at the event – usually sports honey blonde hair, but for the dog meet she wore her locks in beachy pink waves.
She tagged hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos in her post. The celebrity favorite also shared a photo on his account and wrote, “KATE BECKINSALE 💕💕💕 new STRAWBERRY whipped cream color for the gorgeous @katebeckinsale.”
Giannetos noted that he used “@lorealparis feria Smokey Pink,” the same shade he used for Shania Twain’s candy-colored hair transformation.
The star stylist was also responsible for Megan Fox’s pink locks earlier this year, but he dyed the “Transformer” actress’ hair an icy blue tone in April.
To accompany her new hairstyle, Beckinsale presented a transparent white blouse, from underneath which her lace bra peeked out, and combined it with white hot pants and knee-high leather boots.
And as for Myf, the fluffy dog seemed to be having the time of her life at the event. In a series of video clips, she played with other dogs and grabbed a donut from an elaborate display (with mom’s help, of course).
Maybe Beckinsale can match her hair color to her pom for the next party.
