For some happy reason, Kensington Palace has tapped the 52-year-old American rapper to join the British national team for their performances at the 2024 Olympics, alongside the Prince and Princess of Wales, David Beckham and other famous faces. Dressed in a blue and white blazer and a red, white and blue shamrock scarf, Snoop Dogg kicks things off with a quick “Greetings, my lovelies” before the video switches to Will and Kate.
“All of us watching at home congratulate Team GB,” says Middleton, standing outside next to her husband in a simple white and black striped jumper. He adds: “Well done, you have achieved all this, you are an inspiration to us all.”
According to royal expert Jane Barr, the couple appears to have filmed their clip at their summer home in Norfolk. As many viewers noticed, Prince William looked very casual in his blue Adidas polo shirt and casual beard.
“William with a tan and beard!!!!” one fan commented on the post, while many others approved of his “vacation” vibe. One wrote: “Kate looks beautiful and (I’m) here for Will’s stubble 🔥”

“Great to see Catherine again and William unshaven haha,” commented another user. “We haven’t seen that in years, what a sight!”
As you probably know, Kate Middleton has been a low-profile presence as she continues to undergo cancer treatment. Since announcing her diagnosis in March, the Princess has made only a few public appearances, at Trooping the Colour in June and Wimbledon in July.

While most comments revolved around Kate Middleton’s presence and Prince William’s “unshaven look,” many were fixated on Snoop Dogg’s cameo. “Snoop Dogg x Kensington Palace is the crossover we never knew we needed,” commented one fan.
The rapper, who became a fixture at this year’s Olympics as a correspondent for NBC News, concluded the royal’s message to the athletes on the British team: “Thank you, Great Britain. On behalf of the great Snoop Dogg, the Prince and his lovely wife.”
