Kendrick Lamar responds to Drake on his new diss track “Euphoria” and criticizes his AI-generated Tupac verse

Lamar raps about Drake making “Pac spin in his grave” in the latest in a series of diss tracks between the two rappers.

Now it’s Kendrick Lamar’s turn to speak.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper takes aim at Drake with his new song “Euphoria,” which was released on April 30 as the latest in a series of diss tracks between the two musicians – and more specifically, it is a direct response to the “Hotline Bling” singer’s “Taylor Made Freestyle.”

“Euphoria” comes after Drake, 37, released his now-deleted track earlier this month, in which he attacked Lamar, 36, by calling him a “coward” and featured verses created with AI-generated vocals from the “Humble” rapper’s fellow West Coast MCs Snoop Dogg and the late Tupac Shakur.

In the track, Lamar calls Drake “a master manipulator and a notorious liar” and takes aim at his rapping skills: “You’re not a rap artist, you’re a fraud hoping to be accepted.”

He also criticizes Drake’s use of AI-generated Tupac vocals in “Taylor Made Freestyle” – which triggered a cease-and-desist order from the estate of the “California Love” rapper shortly before the case. Degrassi Star eventually deleted the title.

“Somebody told me you got a ring. By God, I’m willing to double the pay. I’d rather do that than let Pac turn in his grave over a Canadian n—-,” Lamar raps.

He also calls out J. Cole, who recently toured with Drake and played a role in sparking the feud by referring to himself, his tour mate and Lamar as the “big three” in rap on the Canadian rapper’s collaboration “First Person Shooter.” For all dogs Album.

“Yeah, Cole and Aubrey know I’m a selfish n—- / The crown is heavy, huh / I pray they’re my true friends, if not then I’m YNW Melly / I don’t like when you do shit, that shit seriously, I inherit the fight,” Lamar says on the track. “Yeah, fuck all that pushing, P, let me see you pushing it / You better get back at him, you thinking about pushing me?”

While the argument apparently started over Cole’s claim to be part of the “Big Three,” Lamar says in “Euphoria” that their problems are not based on competition.

“This isn’t about critics, it’s not about gimmicks, it’s not about who’s the greatest. It’s always been about love and hate. And now let me say that I’m the biggest hater. I hate the way you walk, the way you talk. I hate the way you dress. I hate the way you make surreptitious insults. If I’m going to leave, I’m going to leave directly,” adds the “Alright” singer.
