Kendrick Lamar will reportedly “leave Drake alone” on his next release, claims his friend

Everyone is guessing what Kendrick Lamar will do next. Moreover, various sources have claimed that he will be releasing something very soon, while others claim that these are misleading reports. Be that as it may, it is more than likely that whenever Kendrick comes back with new music, he will have no reason or desire to rehash his feud with Drake. The fight is over, and he can quietly hold on to his victory for now. Moreover, fans believe this thanks to a recent tweet from K.Dot’s childhood friend Lil L, aka Euro Luxxk. “Nah we’re leaving the Canadian alone, everyone is just working right now so stay tuned,” he replied to a fan on Sunday (August 25).

What’s more, this is especially interesting because Drake has something to say about it. His new “100 GIGS” drops have mentioned his feud with many rappers this year quite a bit, and he even posted and deleted an Instagram story where he said he was “going to win game 2.” So there’s a chance that the 6ix god wants to take down Kendrick Lamar and boast about his success and status despite Kendrick’s attempts to destroy him. Still, this could just be a boast to his many haters and rap game opponents, and not an actual indication that he wants revenge in any way.

Kendrick Lamar probably won’t attack Drake again

But we’ll never know until it happens, right? We’re still thinking about the fight culturally, whether it’s HBCU bands’ tributes to “Not Like Us” or endless Twitter debates and memes that just won’t stop. Many fans of Kendrick Lamar and Drake wouldn’t want to see either of them beating a dead horse.

In the meantime, this West Coast banger continues to break streaming records and Kendrick Lamar is still present in many fans’ rotation. Many of his diehard fans cite these facts as reasons why he probably won’t get back into the feud with Drake, at least not directly. We wouldn’t rule out a celebratory or subliminally generic bar or two, and it’ll be hard to hear Mr. Morales’ boastful rap game lyrics without thinking of his Toronto rival. Regardless of the outcome, we can’t wait to find out.
