The actor was nostalgic and shared a look back at his greatest hairstyles of the past years on Instagram. He shared photos of his long hair in Flatliner to the classic voluminous 80s look of Unbound – as well as his crazy blonde look in Beauty salon and even a photo of him as a young man with long straight hair and curtain bangs.

The star captioned the photo: “I’ve tried a few hairstyles over the years… what’s your favorite? #tbt.”

But as it turned out, there was no great consensus among his fans – because letting them decide on the ultimate Kevin Bacon cut was like choosing the favorite child. In the comments, they discussed their absolute favorites.

“The first. Definitely,” commented one fan regarding his Flatliner Look – another agreed, explaining: “It’s the same style he had when I first saw him on TV. It may have only been 7/8 but it really impressed me.”

Others preferred his Footloose hairstyle instead, commenting: “Unbound. Hands down,” and another added that he liked Ren McCormack’s look.

Kevin revealed that he once dressed up as a normal person for a day – and was surprised at how little he liked being normal.

He told Vanity Fair: “I’m not complaining, but I have a pretty recognizable face,” he said, adding: “Putting on a hat and glasses only works to a certain extent.”

To truly live out this thought experiment, “he went to a special effects makeup artist, got some advice, and asked him to make a prosthetic costume for me.”

But he didn’t like the reality of being normal, as he joked: “People were kind of pushing past me and not being nice. Nobody was saying, ‘I love you.’ I had to stand in line to, I don’t know, buy a (expletive) coffee or whatever. I was like, this sucks. I want to be famous again.”
