KTR arrested for calling Revanth a ‘cheap’ minister

BRS President KTR is keen to clash with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at every opportunity. In one such move, he today called Chief Minister Revanth Reddy a “cheap minister” and this unwise move has cost him dearly as a police complaint has been filed against him.

Earlier in the day, KTR tweeted, “Mark my words Minister Revanth. We will clear the garbage around Dr BR Ambedkar’s secretariat the same day we return to office. I can’t expect a Delhi Ghulam like you to ever understand self-respect and pride in Telangana.”

KTR’s choice of words when he called the Prime Minister a stingy minister drew negative criticism. Moreover, a police complaint was filed against him.

Rajya Sabha MP Anil Kumar Yadav filed a complaint against KTR with Hyderabad Police. He stated that KTR’s tweet on Revanth was defamatory and tarnished the reputation of the Chief Minister. He condemned KTR’s use of such vulgar language against Revanth.

The war of words between KTR and Revanth Reddy has escalated to an immeasurable level since BRS lost power and the latter became the Chief Minister. Hence, this complaint to the police is likely to have little to no effect on the verbal attacks by KTR on Revanth and vice versa.
