Another day, another avant-garde beauty moment at Paris Couture Week. This time, however, the striking hairstyles come from Kylie Jenner. Yes, Styles: There was more than one.
Just over a week after debuting her 2014-style bright pink hair, Jenner was spotted sporting her natural brunette hair color en route to the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring-Summer 2024 Haute Couture show. She wore a loose updo pinned at the nape of her neck, and honestly, her overall glam was a cross between 2008 prom and Pamela Anderson’s ’90s-style updo, “face-framing” curling irons and all.
In fact, I almost joked that Jenner’s entire look is remarkably similar to what I to the prom – until I saw photos of her at the actual show. Because the updo was no longer there!
In a particularly interesting move for the Kylie Cosmetics founder, Jenner showed not one costume Change that would be expected for the reality star, but a hairstyle Change when you sit down for the show.
As documented via Getty Images, Jenner swapped the carefully styled hairstyle for Lazy Hot Girl’s lace hair: messy bedhead waves that look So It seems that at some point while searching for her place, she got fed up with her hair, said “screw it” and let it down completely (sometimes referred to as the “composer’s hairstyle”).
Knowing the Jenner-Kardashian clan, you can imagine that Jenner—or more importantly, her glamour team—would react so blasély to something called beauty at Paris Couture Week. Right?
It seems so, because Jenner posed for even more photos (one of which was with Original gossip Girl Star Kelly Rutherford!), as well as lots of pictures from the end of the event.

To sum up, this doesn’t seem to be a mistake: Kylie Jenner always acts on purpose. This hairstyle change was simply done in the name of fashion.
