LaDeana Carol (Greenwalt) Davis, 63, of Wayne City, IL, died Friday, August 16, 2024, at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. LaDeana was born January 15, 1961, in Fairfield, IL, to Larry E. Greenwalt and Judy Carol (Angus) Greenwalt. On July 11, 1987, she married Robert “Bob” Davis, who is still living.

LaDeana worked as a farmer with her husband Bob and also owned and operated a screen printing and embroidery business, BLR Design, out of her home. She was a member of the Johnsonville Ruritans Club. She loved camping, fishing, and bingo and pinochle. She enjoyed participating in tractor pulling competitions and won first place at the IL State Fair several times. She also loved watching her son Robb perform in his theater studio.

LaDeana is survived by her father Larry Greenwalt, her husband Bob Davis, her son Robb Davis; in-laws: Bill & Ladine Davis and Jim & Carolyn Davis; aunts and uncles: Carroll & Linda Greenwalt, Chester & JoAnn Angus and uncle Gary Angus; and 8 cousins: Jeanie Stevens, Jamie Jenkins, Jolie Thomason, Kelly Thomason, Kelly Marshall, Jason Greenwalt (and wife Stephanie), Jamie Jenkins and Jealine.

She was preceded in death by her mother Judy Greenwalt, her two sons Billy Dean Davis and Corey Patrick Davis, her mother-in-law Irene Davis, a niece Mary Beth Holyfield and her grandparents Harlan & Vernetta Greenwalt and Max & Inez Jenkins.

Funeral services for LaDeana Carol (Greenwalt) Davis will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Young Funeral Home in Wayne City, IL. Brother Rob Greenwalt will officiate. Viewing will be at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Interment will follow the funeral service at Bailey Cemetery in Wayne City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Johnsonville Ruritans or the Bailey Cemetery Fund and will be accepted at Young Funeral Home in Wayne City. Online condolences, memories and words of encouragement may be shared at www.youngfuneralhomellc.com.
