Lady Gaga is causing quite a stir.
Fresh off her electrifying performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, the 38-year-old pop icon is already giving us a sneak peek of what’s next in her world. This week, she dropped a new surprise on social media – rocking a brand new look that’s sending her little monsters into a frenzy.
So what’s going on? Gaga posted a video of herself playing the piano on Instagram on Tuesday, August 13, and guess what? She’s ditched the platinum blonde and gone back to black. Yes, the same Gaga who gave off blonde bombshell vibes at the Olympics is now sporting a sleek, jet-black hairstyle.
Gaga kept the caption simple, using only the piano and black heart emojis.
But that’s not all – eagle-eyed fans spotted Gaga wearing a Bruno Mars t-shirt in the video, which sent fans freaking out at the possibility of a collaboration.
“She made sure we saw the shirt,” one fan noted, while another chimed in, “Oh we are so ready for this collab.” And the hype train didn’t stop there. Another follower said, “I SEE YOU BRUNO. Oh my god I can’t wait.”
And it looks like the “Locked Outta Heaven” singer is in on the fun, too. He posted a picture of himself wearing Gaga merch on his own Instagram, fueling the rumors even further.
In a subsequent Instagram post, the “Poker Face” singer shared clearer photos of herself in which her dark hair was clearly visible.
Gaga’s new dark locks are a complete turnaround from the platinum blonde hairstyle she wore for her epic July 26 appearance along the Seine at the Olympic Games opening ceremony.
The last time the Haus Labs founder wore dark hair was in 2021 for her role in House of Gucci, where she played the infamous Patrizia Reggiani alongside an all-star cast including Adam Driver, Jared Leto and Al Pacino.
