Lady Gaga never fails to surprise us with a new beauty look, but after her performance at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics on July 26, where she sported bleached eyebrows and white-blonde hair, her latest hairstyle is so decidedly different that we did a double take.
In an Instagram video posted on August 13, Lady Gaga can be seen sitting at her piano in an oversized T-shirt and comfortable shorts.
Her typical white-blonde hair is nowhere to be seen. Instead, the lighter shade has given way to a deep black that falls straight around her shoulders, with two shorter strands at the front of her temples.
It’s hard to say whether it’s a wig or not, but we can all agree that her jet black hair is already a trending shade for fall 2024.

At the end of June, Lady Gaga spiced up her blonde hair with black highlights, but now she’s daring to try a completely dark shade. And she’s not alone.
Witch brown, a shade characterized by almost black streaks, is all the rage right now, with Charli Xcx leading the way. Even Kaia Gerber recently swapped her sun-kissed brown for a much darker, cool, almost gothic look. Like these two stars, Lady Gaga has also interpreted the hair color trend with thin, long hair.
Of course, Lady Gaga’s new hair color isn’t the only thing that’s causing a stir in this short video. Her t-shirt features Bruno Mars, which she conspicuously holds up to the camera, and we wonder: can we expect a collaboration between the two singers soon? Stay tuned.
