Lady Gaga leaves her blonde hair behind for a cool brunette makeover

Lady Gaga has said goodbye to her typical blonde curls and undergone an unusual brunette makeover.

Gaga, 38, showed off her new look, which includes dark brown hair and bleached eyebrows, on Instagram on Wednesday, August 14. In the photo, Gaga’s locks were parted down the middle and cut to her chest, with the angles framing her face. She wore her locks down and straightened.

The singer wore minimal makeup in the selfies, including rosy cheeks, pink eyeliner and matte lips.

Gaga paired her makeover with a black shirt, a fluffy leopard print coat, white-rimmed sunglasses and dark boots.

“📺,” she captioned the post, while her fans praised her new look in the comments section.

“THE DARK HAIR GIVES AN ICONIC ERA,” wrote one follower, while another added, “Dark hair, eyebrows bleached, here we go! 🤩.” A third fan gushed, “Love it!!!🖤🖤🖤.”

Gaga previously sported platinum blonde hair, which she wore for her performance at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. For the July performance, she wore a middle part and combed her strands into an updo, complete with a large black feather on her head. Her makeup consisted of cherry red lips, extra rosy cheeks, and black winged eyeliner.

The “Applause” singer also wore a black off-the-shoulder top and matching shorts. She rounded off her ensemble with black gloves, sheer tights and pointed pumps.

In honor of the host country, Gaga sang “Mon Truc et Plumes,” which means “My Thing with Feathers” in French. To match the song, Gaga put on a burlesque performance in which dancers covered her in pink and white feathers.

Gaga previously wore black and blonde highlights during her performance in Las Vegas in June. Back then, her bangs and crown were dyed black, while the rest of her mane was platinum blonde.
