Leave it to Lady Gaga to make waves, be it through her music or her looks. The 38-year-old pop star and actress showcased a brand new makeover before the release of her and Bruno Mars‘ new song: “Die With a Smile”.

Sharing a series of new snaps on Instagram on Wednesday, August 14, Gaga simply captioned her carousel with a TV emoji. In the shots, she appeared with jet black hair and her eyebrows remained blonde. In one photo, the “Poker Face” singer wore her straight hair down and a cheetah-print coat. According to the next image, she accessorized with white sunglasses.

The next day, the Joker: Foil for Two Star announced that she and Bruno, 38, are releasing their latest song along with an accompanying music video. While sharing the cover art of her single, Gaga captioned an Instagram post, “WHILE YOU WAIT UNTIL LG7… ‘DIE WITH A SMILE’ a duet with @brunomars. Song and video tonight at 9pm PT.”

Gaga announced the music news amid ongoing speculation among fans. Social media users speculated whether or not the two had collaborated, especially after she posted an Instagram video earlier this week wearing a Bruno T-shirt. Throughout the video, the A star is born The actress played an unknown song on the piano, making sure that the printed T-shirt was visible.

Earlier this summer, Gaga performed at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The “Shallow” singer sang “Mon Truc et Plumes” fluently in French. The song means “My Thing with Feathers,” and she chose pink feather props for her backup dancers to match the vibrant theme.
