PANAMA CITY – The Northwest Regional Library System (NWRLS) is preparing for library card registration month in September.
According to a press release, Optimus Prime from the Transformers is this year’s special ambassador for Library Card Sign-Up Month, highlighting that there is more than just books at NWRLS.
For residents of Bay, Gulf and Liberty counties, library cards are free and valid at any library. For nonresidents, cards are available for $20 per year.
“Strengthen your mind by using your library card to borrow up to 20 items at a time, including books, e-books, audiobooks, cake pans, ukuleles, telescopes and more,” the press release states.

Bay County Public Library
