COLUMBUS – Last year, 29 players from the ten Marion-area high school football teams were honored with All-Ohio status by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association.
Five players were on the first team, nine on the second team, eleven on the third team and four received honorable mentions.
Less than two weeks before the start of the 2024 season, which All-Ohioans are returning for another try?

● Chase Ebert, River Valley, senior: Second team quarterback, 6’1″, 195lbs as a junior.
● Tyson Waddle, River Valley, senior: Second-team linebacker, 5-10, 200 as a junior.

● Brady Henry, Pleasant, Sr.: First team offensive line, 6-3, 260 as a junior.
● Owen Lowry, Pleasant, Senior: Second team quarterback, 6’3″, 185lbs as a junior.
● Sam Mentzer, Pleasant, senior: Third-team defensive line, 5-10, 180 as a junior.
● Kaden Reichenbach, Highland, Senior: Honorable mention as receiver, 6-4, 175 as a junior.

● Cam Vickers, Mount Gilead, senior: First team punter, 1.88 m, 87 kg as a junior.
● AJ Bower, Northmor, Senior: Second team quarterback, 6’1″, 195 lbs as a junior.
● Jax Wenger, Northmore, Senior: Second team receiver, 6’2″, 185lbs as a junior.
● Landon Shepard, Elgin, Sr.: Third team linebacker, 6’3″, 215lbs as a junior.
● Quinten Harrison, Elgin, Sr.: Third team running back, 5’10”, 195lbs as a junior.
● Wyatt Denney, Cardington, Junior: Third-team running back, 5-7, 175 as a sophomore.

● Evan Ricketts, Ridgedale, Junior: Third-team defensive lineman, 6-4, 195 pounds sophomore.
