Swifties hoping to score tickets to Taylor Swift’s big Eras tour know the experience won’t be cheap.
This year, the billionaire will visit just three U.S. cities – Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis – and the prices for the coveted shows are astronomical. For the October 18 show in Miami, for example, a single ticket cost between $1,615 and $8,524 on StubHub.com on Wednesday afternoon.
How else can fans see one of the world’s greatest singers? Abroad.
Over the past 30 days, searches for “Taylor Swift European tour 2024 tickets” have increased 300% in the U.S., suggesting some people are willing to take a long-haul flight to see the hugely popular artist live, according to travel website Islands.com.
Concertgoers who travel to Europe for their Swift experience may even save more money in the long run. Not only are ticket prices cheaper across the pond, but many European cities like Warsaw and Lisbon are also budget-friendly, offering inexpensive food and accommodation.

To determine the cheapest stops on the Eras Tour, researchers at Islands.com compared the cost of a two-day trip that included a cheap ticket on StubHub.com, two nights in a four-star hotel, six inexpensive meals, two five-mile taxi rides and a local beer. However, the researchers did not take into account airline tickets and concert items.
Since safety is a top priority for travelers, researchers also considered the city’s safety rating on a scale of 1 to 100.
To be extra safe, the State Department recommends that travelers register each time they travel abroad with the U.S. embassy in the country they are visiting. This can be done at step.state.gov.
