Today was the last friendly and one where we needed to give the players more playing time. It was our last chance to do that, so it was important.
This was a chance for us to win the cup and be ready for the first game of the season. I think we did a lot of good things, but we need to continue to improve in the defensive phase.
We definitely have to keep working hard.
The new players had the opportunity to get to know our stadium and get an impression of our fans. We would like to thank the fans for coming to the game today and supporting us – this is very important to us.
I’m sure we’ll have a fantastic atmosphere when we face Aston Villa next weekend. It’s going to be a big challenge for us and we need to be ready.

They both played their first minutes with us today and obviously they’re not ready for 90 minutes at the moment, so today’s game was really important so we can make sure all the players are well placed to face Aston Villa.
