Lucas, Eleven, RadioShack and others appear in Stranger Things behind-the-scenes photos

About a month ago, Netflix released a video marking the halfway point of filming the fifth and final season of Stranger ThingsNow showrunner Ross Duffer has released a new collection of images that gives us a look behind the scenes. The heading is “Week 28-30”. About a month ago, at the halfway point, it would have been weeks 24-27. That means Stranger Things The shooting schedule for “The Last Chance” still includes about 20 weeks, which could last until mid-January 2025.

In other words, we still have to wait a long time before we see new episodes of Stranger Thingsand that’s after two years have passed since season 4. It’s a good thing that the upcoming fifth season is the last, because if they wait any longer, no one will believe the core of the actors’ characters as teenagers.

in the meantime, we can enjoy these collections of images. Caleb McLaughlin takes pride of place as Lucas Sinclair, still sporting the same updo haircut he had in season 4. Season 5 will pick up right after season 4, so that makes sense. The interdimensional threat Vecna has punched a hole through the twisted Upside Down dimension into our reality and now it’s everyone’s problem.

In the next frame we see Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Brett Gelmen (Murray Bauman) and a dog that somehow attracts attention. There is also a shot of an ominous door marked “Restricted Area”. In this series the government is always doing experiments where they mess around with things that are none of people’s business. I have a feeling there is another one behind this door.

Perhaps the strangest shot is a close-up of a life-sized doll in an army uniform, probably meant to represent a corpse; fighting interdimensional monsters is dangerous, but someone has to do it. We get a shot of the inside of an abandoned RadioShack, where popular character Bob Newby (Sean Astin) worked before his tragic death in Season 2. And there are a couple of shots of the logo of WSQK, a radio station that will play a major role in the final scene. Someone has to tell people what’s going on!

Between the RadioShack and the radio station, these images remind us that Stranger Things is a period film set in the 1980s. We’ll get a heaping helping of the show before it leaves. We don’t have a release date yet, but if it doesn’t come out in 2025, there will be uproar.
