Man bleeds after hair transplant because he refused to leave plane at Miami airport

A man bleeding after a hair transplant was arrested when he refused to leave a plane.

According to local media, Eugenio Ernesto Hernandez-Garnier and a companion were taken off the plane at Miami airport on Tuesday.

Staff were concerned about the condition of his head and possible contamination from bodily fluids, but the 27-year-old reportedly said he did not have fresh bandages to treat the wound.

The couple refused to leave the plane. An arrest report states that the woman, Yusleydis Blanca Loyola, told the crew: “If you can’t fly, no one else can.”

The police were called on board and warned the couple that they would be arrested.

The woman began live streaming the incident on TikTok and they were eventually handcuffed and escorted off the American Airlines flight to Las Vegas.

The other passengers also had to get off because of the commotion, reported Florida’s local10news

The two are accused of trespassing and resisting state authority.

In a typical hair transplant, follicles are taken from the back of the scalp and reinserted one at a time at the hairline after tiny holes have been made with a scalpel or needle.
