Alarcon Lara was initially charged with 14 counts of possession of child pornography, but as part of a plea agreement, all but one charge was dropped.

According to court documents, last year he asked two teenagers to send him explicit photos via Snapchat.

Authorities began investigating after a family member of one of the girls reported the incident.

The relative said he initially believed Alarcon Lara, who called himself “Max,” was 17, according to an arrest affidavit.

Investigators searched “Max’s” Snapchat account and found 14 explicit photos of the girls.

They traced the account to Alarcon Lara and arrested him in February.

He must register as a sex offender for 25 years.
