Man leaves Johnson County Adult Residential Center

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – A man convicted of drug offenses walked out of the Johnson County Department of Corrections adult residential facility.

Ricardo Marin-Valdez, 24, is considered an escapee after he failed to show up for work or return to the dorm on Friday, according to a news release from the Kansas Department of Corrections. He is considered dangerous.

Marin-Valadez is 1.80 m tall and weighs 93 kg.

He has brown hair and brown eyes. When he was last seen, he was wearing a black T-shirt and camouflage shorts, the press release said.

Marin-Valadez is serving a 15-month prison sentence for drug offenses in Johnson County.

The Johnson County Department of Corrections Adult Residential Center is a minimum security facility.
