Maui Memorial Medical Center (MMMC) has once again received the highly prestigious Gold Plus and Target: Honor Roll Quality Achievement Awards for excellence in heart and stroke care from the American Heart Association (AHA) Get With The Guidelines® (GWTG) program.

This year, MMMC was recognized for the 16th consecutive year and has received the Gold Plus award for more than 10 consecutive calendar years.

In addition, this year the AHA recognized MMMC for its outstanding achievements in resuscitation of patients after cardiac arrest in the hospital with the GWTG Revival Gold Award for Excellence. The award, the highest honor in resuscitation, signifies that MMMC’s Code Blue Response Team of physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and pharmacists consistently follow evidence-based best practices and the latest treatment guidelines when performing CPR on adult hospitalized patients.
