Medieval Times Scottsdale presents a new show for the first time since 2017

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — If you’re a fan of jousting, horsemanship and falconry, Medieval Times Scottsdale has something for you!

The popular attraction is presenting its first new show since 2017, starting on Friday and coinciding with the 40th anniversary of Medieval Times.

According to Staff, the new show will revolve around a powerful alliance between a king and queen, both of whom lead their own kingdoms, who join forces to usher in an era of peace. There will be new characters and stunts, but guests’ favorite parts will remain – thrilling tournaments, intense sword fights between knights, skilled horsemanship and falconry.

“Producing a new show is a huge undertaking, from creating a new script to choreographing each scene to perfectly synchronizing music and lighting and food service,” said Jim Collins, head of stunt choreography at Medieval Times, in a statement. “We have been working on this new show for the past two years, conducting extensive knight and horse training to pack as much action into the storyline as possible. We are excited to bring it to life and have no doubt our guests will be captivated by it.”
