Michael Hall Jr., former Ohio State DT, is accused of assaulting his fiancée

Former Ohio State defensive tackle Michael Hall Jr. was arrested on domestic violence charges on Tuesday, according to a report.

Hall, who was in training camp with the Cleveland Browns in the NFL this summer, is accused of domestic violence and was released on $10,000 bail, Cleveland television station WEWS reported.

According to the Avon Lake Municipal Court, Hall was ordered not to have any contact with the alleged victim.

The arrest report cited by WEWS states that Avon officers spoke with a woman who stated she was Hall’s fiancée and that a domestic violence incident occurred Monday evening.

That report says Hall hit the woman in the head with a baby bottle, dragged her outside by her arms, and choked her. He is also accused of shoving her head through a wall and breaking down a bedroom door to drag her outside, according to the report cited by WEWS.

“I’m going to put a damn end to this. I don’t care,” Hall told the woman while pointing a gun at her head, the report said.

The police report also stated that two children and the woman’s mother were present during the altercation.

Hall, a native of Streetsboro near Cleveland, was the Browns’ first draft pick in April. The team selected him in the second round, 54th overall, after a career at OSU that included both stellar performances and injuries.
