Michelle Obama’s rare hair transformation is the most daring yet

In the photos, we see Michelle flipping through books, sporting a casual look and a new hairstyle that her fans are obsessed with. In this picture, she showed off her ultra-long braided hair, which is a complete turnaround from what we’ve seen from Michelle so far.

Many fans commented on the photos with the words “COME ON, PIGGY!!!!!!”, “YES! That’s all I see here! Beautiful” and “Perfect. Always. 😍”

And yes, of course we are obsessed too!

In the past, we’ve seen her natural curls, straightened, curled, and other hairstyles with her dark hair. We’ve even seen quite a few different colors, from jet black locks to light brown locks. But this long hairstyle is so different!

We love seeing her so confidently rocking any look she wants; especially because it hasn’t always been this way. According to the Washington Post, she said she often straightened her hair during the presidency of her husband, former U.S. President Barack Obama, to help the U.S. adjust to having a black family in the White House.

“No, they’re not ready for that,” she said, adding that she had straightened her hair to avoid controversy. “Let me keep my hair straight. Let’s pass health care reform.”

But now she wears her hair how she wants (and looks amazing doing it)!
