Millie Bobby Brown shares behind-the-scenes snaps from the final season of “Stranger Things”

Everything is upside down.

On Monday, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown shared some behind-the-scenes photos that give a taste of the fifth and final season of the hit Netflix sci-fi series.

Brown posted the photos on her Instagram and captioned them “11 in 5,” referring to her character Eleven and the fact that it is season 5.

One of the images is a selfie of 20-year-old Brown looking at the camera wearing goggles and a bandana around her neck, with (presumably fake) blood dripping from her nose.

Another photo shows Brown’s dog Winnie on set, while a third image shows snake-like creatures (or creepers) crawling across a blanket while a crew member stands above it, holding an umbrella and smiling.

In another snapshot, her name is seen on a production device as “Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi,” indicating that this is the first season in which Brown films the series as a married woman.

The “Enola Holmes” star tied the knot with the 22-year-old son of rock star Jon Bongiovi in May.

Matthew Modine, Brown’s former “father” in the series “Stranger Things,” performed their secret wedding.

Season 5 of “Stranger Things” will mark the end of the series.

Set in the 1980s, the series follows a group of friends who aren’t conformed to the rules of the world, including Max (Sadie Sink), Will (Noah Schnapp), Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Steve (Joe Keery), Robin (Maya Hawke), former police chief Hopper (David Harbour), and constantly stressed-out mother Joyce (Winona Ryder), who have to deal with supernatural threats from another dimension called the Upside Down.

Season 4 ended with Max in a coma and it also became clear that Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) was the ultimate villain.

“If you thought last season was crazy, this season is just out of control, wild – like, it’s crazy. It really, really is,” Campbell Bower said in June in an interview with iHeart’s podcast “I’ve Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario.”

“It’s bigger. It’s just completely crazy,” he added.

Sink, for her part, recently revealed in an interview with Variety that they love letting me run even though Max is in a coma.

“She will play a role in the season,” series co-creator Matt Duffer told the network, adding that he did not want to reveal “how that is possible” since Max is in a coma.

“We shot a scene with her the other day that was just absolutely heartbreaking. I don’t know how she hits those notes,” he said of Sink’s acting.

In an interview with Podcrushed, Maya Hawke revealed that the eight episodes of the final season will feel like “eight movies.”

“Our showrunners Matt and Ross (Duffer) take on a lot of responsibility,” she said.

“They have a fantastic writing team, but they are very dedicated. They write a lot and care a lot about the quality of the writing that follows. So it takes a long time to write each season and to shoot it.”

Back in June, Netflix gave a first look at season 5 with a behind-the-scenes video that showed some sets and the Hawkins buddies.

“I started when I was 10, now I’m 20,” Brown said in the video. “It feels very strange.”

A premiere date for “Stranger Things” season 5 has not yet been announced.
