Missing person report issued for 8-year-old girl from Homestead: FDLE

HOMESTEAD, Fla. – A missing person report has been issued for an 8-year-old Homestead girl. According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Liah Meza disappeared Friday in the area of ​​the 40 block of Northwest 1st Avenue in Homestead.

Meza is 1.22 m tall and weighs 27 kg. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

According to FDLE, the child may be with Yailen Roche and Geovany Maresma-Burcet.

Roche is 5’4″ tall, weighs 132 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a gray tank top, black shorts, and gray sneakers.

Maresma-Burcet is 1.65 m tall, weighs 82 kg, has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt and black shorts.

They may be driving a white 2021 Honda Pilot with FL license plate QEAE24. The SUV has a bike rack that obscures the rear license plate.

According to authorities, they may be heading toward Lafayette, LA.

FDLE says if you see them, contact police and do not approach them.
