More about STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl in the Developer Deep Dive

A proper developer deep dive is now available for the delayed STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl and it looks and sounds really promising.

GSC Game World might actually finally draw me into their world with this game after completely bouncing off the older games in the series. It’s only a few months away from release (November 20th), so hopefully the extra time will be worth it.

What do we get from this deep dive? There are various interviews and behind-the-scenes looks at the development process, tons of new footage including a world overview, various locations, gameplay and cutscenes, and there’s even a full video walkthrough of one of the story quests.

“We know you might be tired of waiting, and we really appreciate your patience. These two extra months give us the opportunity to fix more ‘unexpected anomalies’ (or simply ‘bugs’ as you call them). We are always grateful for your continued support and understanding – it means the world to us. We can’t wait as much as you can to finally release the game and show it to you for yourself,” said Yevhen Grygorovych, Game Director at GSC Game World.

Be sure to come back and leave a comment after you watch, I really hope it works well with Valve’s Proton for Linux desktop and Steam Deck fans.
