Mushroomhead reach an absolute peak with their new album

Most rock bands only last a few years – even those that achieve great commercial success. Mushroomhead bucks this trend, having been releasing music for nearly 30 years now. Any band that stays together for that long has accomplished something impressive, regardless of their performance after so many years in the business.

But Mushroomhead isn’t just continuing to make music. The heavy metal band is experiencing unprecedented chart success, with their recently released album taking them to an unprecedented peak.

Call the devilMushroomhead’s latest album lands in the British charts this week. The set storms four different positions, which is mainly due to the certainly impressive sales figures.

The project performs best in the official rock and metal albums charts, with Mushroomhead’s new studio album landing at number 8 on the UK’s best-selling album charts in these genres.

Call the devil is Mushroomhead’s first top 10 hit on the Official Rock & Metal Albums Chart. The group came very close to reaching the highest echelon of the charts with their previous album. A wonderful lifeIn 2020, this set peaked at number 12, which was their highest ranking until this week.

The same new release only makes it into the top 40 in one other position. Call the devil starts at number 39 on the official album download chart, marking her second appearance on the list and missing the upper limit of number 37 set by A wonderful life by just two spaces.

Call the devil is also successful on two other charts in the UK. Mushroomhead releases the track this week at number 64 on the Official Album Sales Chart and number 79 on the Official Physical Albums Chart.
