She is an icon, she is a legend – she Is Naomi Campbell.
On Wednesday, Harper’s Bazaar unveiled the supermodel as the star of its 2024 Icons issue; on the cover of the magazine, the 54-year-old sported a new, shorter hairstyle.
Instead of her usual waist-length locks, Campbell wears a super short bob with micro bangs, reminiscent of the bob she wore in the ’90s.
Posing on a rooftop, she shows off her youthful cut in several shots. Her new hair goes perfectly with pleated Alaïa trousers, which she pairs with a matching halter neck top and a sleek black Michael Kors dress under a structured coat.
On Instagram, friends and fans commented on the transformation, adding fire emojis and praising the look.
“This hair is insanely good 🔥🔥,” noted chef Sophia Roe.
However, the short haircut is by far not Campbell’s only hair change.
Other photos show the former presenter of “The Face” lounging on a chair in Loewe trousers and leaning on a railing in a Ferragamo dress, her hair styled in an elegant, sleek cut.
She also shows off her leg in a sequined Phoebe Philo dress, while her voluminous, chin-length locks grab all the attention.
Of course, changing her appearance is nothing new for Campbell.
Aside from being a chameleon throughout her modeling career, she wore her hair in a similar bob style back in 2007 when she appeared on the red carpet at Elton John’s Oscar party and the Walk Of Style Awards.
Campbell’s decades-long modeling career, activism and cultural influence are currently being celebrated with an exhibition at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum called “Naomi: In Fashion.”
According to Harper’s Bazaar, some of her most memorable outfits are on display there. The Dolce & Gabbana dress she wore during her community service sits “next to her 2020 Covid-fighting outfit, consisting of a hazmat suit and a cashmere Burberry cape.”
The exhibition now runs until April 6, 2025.
