NATCHITOCHES, Louisiana – The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office is searching for three inmates who escaped from the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center (NPDC) late Saturday night, according to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Stuart Wright.

There is currently a heavy police presence in the Natchitoches Bypass area. Use an alternate route.

The escapees were identified as Johnny Williams, Malakhi, Nathaniel Gallant and Seankalyn Chatman. They are all between 5’7″ and 6’10” tall.

Major Roger Henson of the Natchitoches Detention Center says the inmates were wearing orange jumpsuits at the time of the escape. However, more recent information and evidence suggests the escapees have changed their clothing and may be wearing gray sweatpants and white t-shirts.

All were detained at the NPDC on various charges.

If you observe these people, do not approach them, they are considered dangerous.

Instead, call 911 or the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-357-7851 or the Natchitoches Police Department at 318-352-8101.

Please ensure your keys are removed from your vehicle and lock your doors if you live in the immediate area.
