NatWest and Visa launch new credit card to support and reward UK customers

NatWest Group has partnered with Visa, a global leader in digital payments, to launch a new travel rewards credit card, available now in the UK to NatWest customers.

The card offers a number of features including:

  • 1% back on eligible travel expenses, including planes, trains, rental cars, ferries, buses, hotel accommodations, travel agents, cruises, campgrounds and more.
  • % up to 15% at selected partner retailers.
  • No foreign transaction fees on purchases abroad.
  • No annual fee.

This product launch is the latest development in a long-term collaboration between Visa and NatWest Group to provide customers with access to Visa debit and credit cards, helping them manage their spending with greater ease, security, flexibility and control.

As part of this partnership, NatWest launched a campaign that leveraged the energy between its sponsorship of Team Great Britain and Visa’s sponsorship of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Existing NatWest customers who expressed interest in the card were given the chance to win two tickets to a once-in-a-lifetime travel experience – the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and an exciting Olympic event, courtesy of Visa.

Salim Secretary, Head of Payment Systems and Partnerships at NatWest Group, commented: “Our new Travel Reward Credit Card rewards our customers with a one percent discount on their travel spending. Our long-standing collaboration with Visa has enabled us to further expand the selection of cards available to our customers.”

Mandy Lamb, Managing Director for UK and Ireland at Visa, also commented: “As part of our long-term collaboration, we are delighted that NatWest is launching this new credit card in the UK, contributing to a seamless, secure and flexible payment experience. Together we will bring our world-class capabilities to millions of NatWest customers. All of our products and services are based on our global commitment to be the best way to pay and get paid.”
