Nevada County Library launches competition to design library cards

The Nevada County Library is pleased to announce a library card design contest that invites community members of all ages to showcase their creativity and contribute to the design of new library cards. The goal of this year’s library card design contest is to celebrate local talent, promote literacy and create a sense of community pride. “Our community is full of creative people,” says Mandy Kelsey, Bear River Library Branch Manager. “It’s very exciting to have our library cards reflect that artistic energy!” Library staff can’t wait to see all of the design submissions.
