New Pepper app – The Jerusalem Post

Pepper, Leumi’s digital banking platform, has announced the upcoming launch of a new and improved app powered by an advanced technology infrastructure. The new app will provide customers with a more convenient and efficient user experience, as well as a significantly wider range of banking products and services – features that were previously unavailable on Pepper.

New offers include opening a foreign currency account, a joint account and even applying for a mortgage. In addition, Pepper customers will continue to benefit from fee exemptions for their current accounts. The app is currently in the final stages of development and will be gradually rolled out over the coming months.

As part of this initiative, Pepper will also launch a new securities trading platform called “Trade.” Trade is designed to be the most innovative and leading securities trading platform in the Israeli banking system, offering a variety of products not previously available to Pepper customers. For the first time, Pepper customers will be able to participate in a wide range of trading activities on the Israeli capital market, the US stock market, and other foreign exchanges worldwide. The platform will also offer real-time global market information, pre-market trading in US stocks, detailed securities portfolio analysis, and more.

Eyal Ben-Haim, Head of Banking at Leumi, said: “We believe that Pepper, which was founded about seven years ago, must evolve together with our customers. The launch of the new app will offer our customers a more diverse range of banking solutions and enable them to manage their finances in a way that is better tailored to their needs. The new app will offer a more innovative user experience and open up a new world of banking products, allowing them to manage all their financial activities in one place – more efficiently and based on intelligent models.”
