TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Madison County Emergency Management officials say more supplies are on the way for residents recovering from the aftermath of Hurricane Debby.
Starting Monday, August 19, a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) will be open in the county to assist residents in the recovery process.
The center will be located at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 5022 State Road 53 in Madison.
It is open Monday to Wednesday, August 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Services offered by the center include insurance resources, unemployment information, crisis counselors and cleaning kits.
Madison County officials also announced that there will be changes to school bus routes from August 19-23 due to flooding from Debby.
Due to rising water levels and flooded roads, buses are not allowed on dirt roads south of Interstate 10.
According to the district authorities, state roads 14, 53 and 255 are affected.
If you live in an affected area, county authorities are asking you to drop off and pick up your children at the end of the dirt road on designated state roads.
