New Jersey Transit announced that these 20 routes will begin operating on August 17. There will be no service interruptions for customers, but there will be schedule changes, the transit agency said.

Here you will find links to new schedules for the affected routes in Passaic County: 702, 705, 707, 709, 722, 744, 746, 748, 758 and 780.

“On the above-mentioned bus routes, travel times and service levels have been adjusted to reflect current travel experiences and improve reliability,” officials said.

Note: Academy Bus was previously awarded the contract to operate the routes in Passaic County starting in September, but those routes will not open until Saturday.

Academy Bus will also take over the affected routes in Bergen County and NJT will operate three in Hudson County.

“Customers on all of these routes will not notice any difference in schedules, fares, routes, bus stops or the appearance of the buses,” NJT said. “Customers should continue to purchase their tickets the same way they have done before.”
