According to John Ourand of Puck, Sunday Ticket will cost $679.99 per year on the Apple App Store.

Bundled with RedZone, it costs $739.99 per year.

The NFL has no influence on pricing, Ourand noted.

In addition, Apple charges a 30% commission on all products in its App Store, which is included in the pricing.

And many NFL fans are angry about the high cost of the popular TV product.

“WTF are you serious? Send it back to Direct TV… I get it for free almost every year,” said one fan.

“It’s crazy to only watch football on TV. No wonder people stream illegally!” remarked another fan.

“It’s actually crazy how much they’re asking for it. How can anyone afford it?” said a third fan.

If fans purchase the NFL Sunday Ticket or RedZone package through YouTube TV, it will cost $379 or $419, respectively.

However, there will be a major upgrade to the Sunday Ticket for the 2024 season.

Julian Edelman admits he “lost a lot of money” while the Fox NFL Sunday star admits he “learned my lesson.”

A customizable multiview feature allows fans to watch multiple games simultaneously on the YouTube-powered streaming service.

According to Front Office Sports, the option will be available on both YouTube and YouTube TV starting Week 1.

Users can add up to four separate feeds to their grid in almost any combination they want.

NFL RedZone is also among the available broadcasts.

The only restrictions reportedly apply to game broadcasts within the respective market, which are available to subscribers with access to local channels via YouTube TV.

This news comes at a time when the NFL is still embroiled in a legal dispute over ticket prices for previous Sundays.

After a lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles, a jury ruled in June that the league had raised subscription fees while making DirecTV the sole distributor of the service before YouTubeTV acquired the rights in 2022.

The NFL was ordered to pay its then-subscribers $4.7 billion.

Two months later, the judge overturned the verdict.

However, the judge’s decision to overturn the conviction can be appealed to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco.

The 2024 NFL season begins on Thursday, September 5.
