Tyreek Hill led the NFL Top 100 list in 2024, which means that he is considered by his peers to be the best player in the league. That is, they believe cheetah is better than Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomeswhich came in 4th place.

Although this ranking was considered controversial, does not hesitate to confirm the votes of his colleaguesIn fact, Hill stated in an interview with Kay Adams on The Up & Adams Show.

Are you a better player than Patrick Mahomes?“ asked Adams Hill, who replied: “Yes, of course, I am him.” before Adams asked the wideout what his argument was to explain this.

Tyreek Hill cites his size as the reason he is better than Mahomes

While the Dolphins star acknowledges his former teammate’s talent and importance to the Chiefs, as well as his Super Bowl success, Hill believes his status as the league’s best player has something to do with it with its size.

“My argument is that you have to look at it this way: Pat is great, he is obviously great for his team, you hear me? They won two Super Bowls in a row, they did their thing, right? Look at me, two consecutive 1700 (yards), Pro Bowl, All-Pro, this, that, consistency, all that, man, you hear me? I’m doing this at 5’8, 5’9. I would call myself smaller now, 5’7, about 6’10, come on, man. A lot of people said I couldn’t be a receiver and I’m doing this. I’m giving hope to all the short kings out there, hope to all the short kings around the world”, said Hill.

Cheetah and Mahomes formed the largest duo in the NFL, but since leaving Kansas City for Miami in 2022, Hill has been trying to succeed on his own.

Pat certainly has fared better after the split, he won two more Super Bowls with the Chiefs. Hill was unstoppable in South Florida, but the Dolphins have yet to find success in the postseason. This year, the wide receiver will look to help the franchise win its first playoff game since 2000.
