Obituary for Judith Anne Wright |

Judith Anne Wright (née Lloyd), 76, died on June 17, 2024 in Cranbrook, British Columbia. She was born in Calgary, Alberta.

Judy spent much of her time over the years volunteering with many community organizations including the Maverick Riding Club, the Cranbrook Hospital Auxiliary, the Cranbrook Quilters Group, and the Local Lapidary Club.

Judy was an accomplished artist, quilter and painter. Her love of history led her to study and collect details and history of family genealogy as well as the history and stories of the people of the Kootenay region.

Judy loved her family dearly and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Judy leaves behind her husband Tim Wright, her son Wayne Wright, her son Aaron Wright (Teresa), her brother Barry Lloyd, her sister Janice Lloyd, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Judy was predeceased by her brother Jim Lloyd and her father James Lloyd.

A memorial service in Judy’s honor will be held on August 10, 2024, at the Cranbrook History Centre, 57 Van Horne St. So, Cranbrook, BC, Cranbrook, BC.
