  • Woman raped at knifepoint under Coney Island boardwalk by suspected migrants

    BROOKLYN, NY – A woman was allegedly raped at knifepoint underneath the Reigelmann Boardwalk at MCU Park, 1904 Surf Avenue, around 9 a.m. today. The harrowing attack occurred.

    According to the police report, the 46-year-old victim was under the boardwalk with a homeless witness who briefly left the scene. When he returned, he heard the victim’s screams and discovered that she was being attacked by a man with a knife while a second man watched. The witness’ immediate intervention led to the arrest of one of the attackers at the scene.

    The arrested suspect, 24-year-old David Devon Bonilla, was previously involved in a sex crime against a member of the LGBTQ community and remained at large until today. Both suspects are believed to be immigrants, with the second suspect still at large, causing heightened concern in the community.

    The victim is currently in a stable condition at a nearby hospital. This brutal incident has caused great concern among local residents and prompted calls for increased security measures and a swift response to arrest the remaining suspect.

  • Police investigate fatal car crash in Wilkinsburg

    WILKINSBURG, PA – Early Saturday morning, the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit was called to investigate a fatal car crash in Wilkinsburg.

    At approximately 7:24 a.m., emergency services were notified by County 9-1-1 of an accident at the intersection of Swissvale Ave and Wallace Ave. Upon arrival, emergency responders found a dead juvenile driver and a juvenile male passenger in stable condition.

    According to initial reports, the vehicle collided with a power pole and caught fire. Detectives have begun investigating the circumstances of the incident.

    Allegheny County Police are asking anyone with information about the accident to call the tip line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Information can be submitted anonymously.
