Ohio man charged with rape and kidnapping of woman who wanted to get a tattoo

An Ohio man was arrested Thursday after a woman who wanted to get a tattoo from him reported that he raped her.

Mario Rodriguez Ibarra, 22, and the victim chatted on Facebook on August 22, with the victim expressing interest in getting a tattoo from him, according to court documents. received from our news partners at WBNS-10 TV.

The victim told Columbus Division of Police officers that Ibarra and a male acquaintance picked her up from her home that afternoon and drove her to his house.

In Ibarra’s bedroom, he reportedly pulled out a gun and ripped the victim’s clothes off.

The victim said she was then raped, records show received from our news partners at WBNS-10 TV.

After Ibarra fell asleep, the victim got dressed, left the house and asked the male acquaintance for help.

The acquaintance called the police and waited with them until the officers arrived.

He told police that while he was waiting for them to arrive, Ibarra went outside and admitted to using a gun to force the victim to have sex.

Ibarra appeared before a judge in Franklin County Municipal Court on Saturday morning.

His bail is set at over $750,000.
